I believe that ALL students can and will learn if given the right tools in order for them to be successful.

My name is Kristin Gilligan Morris and I am excited to be teaching 7th grade Language Arts.  I have been teaching for 14 years. Nine out of my 14 years I have taught seventh grade LA, so you can say that 7th grade and LA is my passion!

I was born and raised in West Virginia in a city right outside of Pittsburgh, PA. I am the oldest of 4 girls and all of my sister's names start with the letter K. I am very close to my family and I try to travel to see them as much as possible.

I graduated from West Virginia University in 2007 with a dual Master's degree in Early Childhood Education & Special Education. I then went back to school to specialize in middle grades LA, Science & Social Studies. I am a life-long learner so over the last 14 years, I have gone back to school to add many more endorsements to my teaching certificate-gifted, teacher leadership and academic coaching.

As you can see, teaching is in my blood. I have always wanted to be a teacher and I am thrilled to be teaching these wonderful students at Griffin Middle School.
