This Week 11/18-11/22

We will continue working on the reading informational text standards and writing an Informational/Explanatory essay standards.

Homework for this Week: ALL assignments are due Friday, 11/22

- 2 Read Theory quizzes (must be 7th grade level or higher)

- Assigned individual assignment- This will vary from students to student depending on what each student need further help with.

Missing Work

- All missing work will be due on Tuesday, 12/3- Each student will be given the opportunity to grab any missing work tomorrow in class.

Assignments/Activities for the Week:

- In class, we will start writing our informational/explanatory essay.

- Students will participate in station rotations throughout this week. The station rotations are listed below:

- Text Structure

- Author's Word Choice & Technical and Connotative Words

- Writing test questions using various DOK levels

- Annotating text within each station

- Simple sentences, clauses and phrases

- CTLS assessment/ Read Theory/ Reading Plus

*** All assignments for each station will be completed in class. If a student does not finish a particular station in the allotted amount of class time, he/she is required to complete it for HW.
